DUBAI, November 26. /TASS/. Iran has confronted the combined military power of the United States, the United Kingdom, and France during its conflict with Israel, Ali Fadavi, deputy commander-in-chief of Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) reported.
"Following the operations of 'True Promise' (the term used in Iran for missile strikes on Israel), the entire world has recognized that the strength of the Israeli regime was overestimated. In fact, we faced off against the regime's allies - the United States, the United Kingdom, and France," the IRGC press service quoted the military leader.
"The entire military potential of the US, UK, and France was mobilized to prevent Iran's operation, but the IRGC completed its mission," he said.
On October 1, Iran launched another massive rocket and missile strike against Israel in retaliation for the killing of senior officials from the Palestinian movement Hamas, the Lebanon-based Shia movement Hezbollah, and the IRGC. Israel vowed to respond to the attack.
On October 26, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) announced it was conducting surgical strikes on military targets in Iran "in response to months of continuous attacks." Iran’s air defense forces reported that military facilities in the Ilam, Tehran, and Khuzestan provinces were targeted but sustained minimal damage. Four Iranian servicemen and one civilian were killed as a result of the strike. Iran warned of a new retaliatory attack against the Jewish state.
