He said 53 attacks were against US bases in Iraq and 77 targeted bases in Syria.

Ryder said the tally of attacks by Yemen's Houthi rebels on ships in the Red Sea has reached 27 since November 19, 2023.

Earlier, Shiite militias warned the US in a statement on Telegram that they would step up the number of armed operations in Syria and Iraq as "Washington continues to provide military aid to the Israeli military that is killing civilians in the Gaza Strip and South Lebanon.".
