The G7 group of nations reaffirms support for a restoration and full implementation of the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action

WANGELS /Germany/, May 14. /TASS/. The G7 group of nations (the UK, Germany, Italy, Canada, the US, France and Japan) is committed to ensuring that Tehran will never develop a nuclear weapon, according to G7 Foreign Ministers’ Communique published on Saturday following a three-day meeting in the Wangels municipality in the north of Germany.

"We are committed to ensuring that Iran will never develop a nuclear weapon. We reaffirm our support for a restoration and full implementation of the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPoA). A diplomatic solution remains the best way to restrict Iran’s nuclear program," the document said.

"We urge Iran to refrain from further escalations of its nuclear activities," G7 top diplomats noted.
