Survey puts approval rating of German chancellor at 38%

The approval rating of German Chancellor Olaf Scholz has hit the lowest figures since he assumed office on December 8, with almost half of the population being discontent with his policy, suggests a survey carried out by INSA pollster at the request of Bild am Sonntag and published on Sunday.

A total of 1,002 people took part in the survey. According to it, 49% of the polled German nationals said they were not satisfied with chancellor’s work. Only 38% of the surveyed said the opposite. According to the pollster, over half of German citizens (55%) don’t approve of the work of the federal government, with only 35% satisfied with its activity.
