MOSCOW, November 8. /TASS/. American actor Johnny Depp has sent his guitar to Moscow ahead of appearing personally in a local studio to cut a joint recording of a song with Russian rock group Yamore, the band’s PR manager told TASS.
"Yesterday (November 7 - TASS) Johnny Depp’s guitar arrived in Moscow to [recipient Yamore guitarist and keyboard player] Mikhail Lisov," the band’s representative said.
When asked about when the veteran, award-winning Hollywood actor will travel to Russia, the Russian band’s PR manager said that, "at the moment there is an agreement with Johnny Depp’s representatives not to reveal the exact date of his arrival."
In July 2023, according to the band’s manager, Depp had planned to fly to Russia on November 10 and then record a track with Yamore on November 12. At that time, it was also clarified that the American actor planned to cut a guitar track for the recording with the Russian band, and the song itself will be about "life’s difficulties and the silver linings to be found in them."
Yamore were founded in 2022 and consist of vocalist Sergey Lomonosov, guitarist and keyboardist Mikhail Lisov, and drummer Vyacheslav Mayer.
