NEW YORK, September 24. /TASS/. Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov, heading the Russian delegation, has arrived in New York to participate in the landmark 80th session of the UN General Assembly.

As reported by a TASS correspondent, the government aircraft covered the distance from Moscow to the United States via the northern route, bypassing all countries, in 11 hours and 40 minutes.
