Ukraine fires around 230 munitions at Belgorod Region in past day

The Shebekinsky district was hit by 15 drones

BELGOROD, March 26. /TASS/. Over the past 24 hours, the Ukrainian army fired 230 munitions and launched 48 drones in attacks on Belgorod and eight districts of the Belgorod Region, injuring two civilians, Governor Vyacheslav Gladkov reported on his Telegram channel.

The majority of the strikes - 210 munitions - targeted the Krasnoyaruzhsky district.

"In the Krasnoyaruzhsky district, the villages of Prilesye, Grafovka, Demidovka, Ilek-Penkovka, and Popovka came under 23 shelling attacks, with 210 munitions fired. The enemy also launched 14 drones, 12 of which were shot down. Two outbuildings were damaged in the village of Ilek-Penkovka," Gladkov wrote.

Seven munitions and nine drones struck 10 settlements in the Belgorod district, injuring two civilians. The attack damaged 11 apartments in two multi-family buildings, two outbuildings, a passenger car, and an ambulance.

The Shebekinsky district was hit by 15 drones. Two enterprises, nine cars, and a private house were damaged.

In the Volokonovsky district, nine munitions and one UAV targeted the area, damaging four private residences and destroying an outbuilding.

Three drones were launched in the Valuysky district, causing damage to a tractor and the dome of the Church of the Kazan Icon of the Mother of God.

In the Rakityansky district, a drone attacked the village of Ilek-Koshary, damaging a car.

Air defense systems shot down two fixed-wing UAVs over the city of Belgorod and the Yakovlevsky district; no casualties or damage were reported.

"In the Graivoronsky municipal district, four munitions were fired at the villages of Bezymeno and Novostroyevka-Vtoraya during three shelling attacks and three drone strikes. No casualties or damage occurred," Gladkov added.
