Kremlin not to disclose names of all US representatives in Ukraine dialogue

"As soon as [the contacts] take place, we will inform you," Dmitry Peskov told a news conference

MOSCOW, March 12. /TASS/. Russian Presidential Spokesman Dmitry Peskov refused to mention all the US representatives with whom contacts are planned in the coming days.

It was reported earlier that US Secretary of State Marco Rubio and US National Security Advisor Mike Waltz will inform Moscow about the results of the talks between Washington and Kiev in Jeddah. At the same time, other contacts with US representatives are not excluded.

"As soon as [the contacts] take place, we will inform you," he told a news conference.

Negotiations between the delegations of the United States and Ukraine took place in Jeddah in Saudi Arabia on March 11. They lasted 9.5 hours. Following the talks, a joint statement was published on Vladimir Zelensky's website, according to which Ukraine is ready to accept a US proposal for a 30-day ceasefire, while Washington will immediately lift the pause in providing intelligence and resume assistance to Kiev.

The statement also said that the countries agreed to sign a comprehensive agreement on the development of critical mineral resources as soon as possible to strengthen Ukraine's economy. Head of Zelensky's office, Andrey Yermak, said after the talks that the minerals agreement would be signed when the United States deems it convenient.
