Russian forces liberate about 7.5 sq km near border of DPR, Zaporozhye Region — politician

MELITOPOL, February 25. /TASS/. Russian units have advanced in the vicinity of the village of Novoocherevatoye in the southwestern direction toward the border between the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR) and the Zaporozhye Region, liberating about 7.5 square kilometers, Vladimir Rogov, chairman of Russia’s Civic Chamber commission on sovereignty, patriotic projects and support for veterans, told TASS.

"In the vicinity of Novoocherevatoye, our troops have liberated about 7.5 square kilometers to the southwest. This is a lot for this section of the line of engagement," Rogov said.

On February 24, he told the news agency that Russian forces had completed a mop-up operation against Ukrainian troops in Novoocherevatoye.
