DONETSK, February 7. /TASS/. The liberation of Dzerzhinsk (Ukrainian name - Toretsk) in the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR) will reduce shelling attacks on Gorlovka and hasten the start of battles for Konstantinovka, TASS has learned from Russia’s security agencies.
"We are now in control of Dzerzhinsk, so shelling attacks on Gorlovka will decrease to a certain extent. It is also worth mentioning that the liberation of this city will bring us closer to the start of battles for Konstantinovka," one source said.
On Friday, the Russian Defense Ministry announced that Russian troops had secured the city of Dzerzhinsk in the DPR.
