MOSCOW, April 4. /TASS/. Russia is interested in the stable situation in Georgia, Russian Presidential Spokesman Dmitry Peskov said on Thursday.

A draft law on foreign agents was submitted again with the Georgian parliament earlier this week. This bill was introduced to the parliament for the first time a year ago and it led to mass protests in the country.

"Georgia is our neighbor. A stable and predictable situation in Georgia is in our interests," Peskov said commenting on the current developments.
