Russian Foreign Ministry to monitor global response to terrorism inquiries

The Russian Prosecutor General’s office sent to the US, Germany, France and Cyprus requests and addresses from a group of State Duma MPs regarding the organization of terrorist attacks against Russia by the US and other Western nations

MOSCOW, April 3. /TASS/. The Russian Foreign Ministry will keep an eye on how foreign countries react to the Prosecutor General’s office’s inquiries about terrorist attacks organized on Russian soil, Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said at a briefing.

"We will observe the reaction of our law enforcement agencies, as well as the reaction abroad," Zakharova said, answering a related question.

The Russian Prosecutor General’s office sent to the US, Germany, France and Cyprus requests and addresses from a group of State Duma MPs regarding the organization of terrorist attacks against Russia by the US and other Western nations. The press service noted that the addresses from MPs Andrey Krasnov, Nikolay Kharitonov, Yana Lantratova, as well as from social activists Alexander Dugin and Andrey Derkach were considered. They call for an investigation into the possible involvement of people and organizations located abroad in financing and carrying out a number of terrorist attacks in Russia, as well as destroying the Nord Stream 1 and 2 natural gas pipelines.
