MOSCOW, January 11. /TASS/. The agreement between the governments of Russia and Ukraine on international automobile communication has been terminated on December 17, the Russian Foreign Ministry said in a statement, published on the official legal information website.
"On December 17, 2023, the agreement between the government of the Russian Federation and the government of Ukraine on international automobile communication, signed in Kiev on March 21, 1995, has been terminated," the statement reads.
Previously, the Ukrainian cabinet representative to the Verkhovna Rada Taras Melnichuk announced that the Ukrainian government approved the withdrawal from the treaty on international automobile communication and on cooperation in protection of industrial property with Russia.
Ukrainian authorities regularly announce withdrawals from agreements, signed with Russia, Belarus, Syria and within the CIS.
