MOSCOW, December 19. /TASS/. Russian President Vladimir Putin will hold an extended meeting of the board of the Russian Ministry of Defense, where further priorities for the development of the army and navy will be determined.
According to the Kremlin press service, the event will summarize the results of the Russian Armed Forces' efforts this year and assign tasks for the next. The keynote talk will be delivered by Defense Minister Sergey Shoigu.
The meeting will take place at the National Defense Management Center on Frunzenskaya Embankment in Moscow, which provides centralized combat control over the Russian Armed Forces. Representatives from the command of military districts, and branches of the Russian Armed Forces, as well as heads of central military command and control organizations, as well as representatives from federal administrative authorities, are invited to participate.
During his visit to the center, Putin will also get acquainted with modern and promising models of equipment, weapons, ammunition, as well as protective equipment.
