MOSCOW, November 11. /TASS/. Preparations are underway for communication between the leaders of Russia and Cuba, Kremlin Spokesman Dmitry Peskov told reporters on Friday.
When asked if Presidents Vladimir Putin of Russia and Miguel Diaz-Canel of Cuba were expected to take part in the unveiling of a monument to late Cuban leader Fidel Castro in Moscow later in the month, Peskov said: "Preparations are underway for communication with our Cuban friends. We will inform you about the details later."
A source in cultural circles told TASS earlier that the monument to the late leader of the Cuban revolution was tentatively scheduled to be unveiled on November 21 or 22. The Castro monument would be installed in the eponymous square in Moscow’s Sokol District.
