Russian PM: anti-Russia sanctions, Russian counter-sanctions to be lifted sooner or later

Dmitry Medvedev noted, that sanctions is not a very good thing

BELGRADE, October 19. /TASS/. Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev believes that sanctions against Russia along with Russian counter-sanctions will be eventually lifted.

"Sanctions and our counter-sanctions is not a very good thing, of course. Sooner or later, this all will end," Medvedev said in his address to the Serbian National Assembly (parliament) on Saturday.

The prime minister pointed out that the sanctions generate profit for agriculture workers in both Russia and Serbia, as the country that did not join the anti-Russian restrictions and therefore, has not been subject to counter-sanctions.

"They [agriculture workers] ask us to stick to this policy as long as possible, as it will help enhance cooperation," the Russian prime minister added.
