Russian Gazprom Group more than doubles LNG sales in 2014

The Sakhalin-2 oil and gas project in Russia’s Far East is yet the only source of liquefied natural gas for Gazprom

MOSCOW, February 13. /TASS/. Russian gas giant Gazprom increased sales of liquefied natural gas (LNG) by 120% to 4.5 billion cubic meters, the company reported on Friday.

In 2013, sales of Gazprom Marketing & Trading (Singapore) and Global LNG totaled 2.02 billion cubic meters of liquified natural gas, while in 2014 sales of LNG more than doubled to reach 4.5 billion cubic meters, the report said.

The Sakhalin-2 oil and gas project in Russia’s Far East is yet the only source of liquefied natural gas for Gazprom.
