RTS Index in the green after official exchange rates release by Central Bank

MOSCOW, October 9. /TASS/. The RTS Index accelerated in its growth after the Bank of Russia had released official currency rates, according to market data.

The regulator reduced the rate to 81.41 rubles for the dollar and 94.7 rubles for the euro but increased it to 11.36 rubles for the yuan for October 10.

The RTS Index surged by 2.88% to 1,018.38 points. The Moscow Exchange Index gained 2.7% to 2,631.78 points.
