Kremlin calls on not to see any trends in decision on Danone's assets

Dmitry Peskov noted that in each case a specific situation is studied

MOSCOW, March 14. /TASS/. Russian assets of Danone have been removed from the temporary management of the Federal Property Management Agency based on expediency, but one should not look for any trends here: all decisions are made individually, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov told reporters, answering a question from TASS.

"This was due to expediency," he explained, speaking about the decision on Danone’s assets.

Peskov noted that in each case a specific situation is studied.

"There cannot be any trend here. Each situation is considered separately. All factors, all conditions and the specific situation in which the decision is made are weighed," he said.

Earlier, the Financial Times wrote that Danone, a French dairy producer whose Russian assets have been placed under temporary control by the Federal Property Management Agency, plans to sell its business in Russia for 17.7 bln rubles ($191.5 mln) to Russian dairy manufacturer Vamin Tatarstan.
