MOSCOW, November 4. /TASS/. The Russian banking system is currently in excellent condition, Governor of the Bank of Russia Elvira Nabiullina said.

"We had to revoke numerous licenses and rehabilitate some banks. This sparked fierce opposition. But the banking system is now absolutely healthy," she stated.

According to Russian Finance Minister Anton Siluanov, after falling by roughly 2% last year, the Russian economy will increase by 2.8% in 2023.

"We expect economic growth of around 2.8-3% this year. We have fully compensated for the 2% decrease in growth rates that happened last year," he stated.
