MOSCOW, October 31. /TASS/. A Telegram update has been delayed for a week due to the check by Apple, founder of the messenger Pavel Durov wrote in his official Telegram channel.

"Telegram's latest update has been stuck in Apple Review for more than a week, and we have not been informed about the current reason for the delay," Durov wrote.

According to Telegram’s experience, Apple normally screens large updates in apps before posting in AppStore for at least 7-10 days instead of 24 hours as they claim, the Telegram founder noted.

"My friends who run smaller apps tell me it's even worse for them, as they have to wait more than a month just to ship bug fixes to their Apple users," he added.
