Russia’s Rosoboronexport to feature new military hardware at Minsk arms show

MOSCOW, May 21. /TASS/. Russia’s state arms seller Rosoboronexport (part of the state tech corporation Rostec) will feature new defense products of over 30 domestic producers at the MILEX 2025 international armament and military hardware exhibition opening in the Belarusian capital on May 21, the company’s press office reported on Wednesday.

"In Minsk, we are showcasing equipment for all services and branches of the armed forces. Eight major domestic defense holding companies are participating in the Russian exposition and Rosoboronexport demonstrates the latest military, dual-use and civilian products from over 30 enterprises of the country. We expect high interest from the Belarusian defense, security and law enforcement agencies and other participants in the exhibition," the press office quoted Rosoboronexport CEO Alexander Mikheyev as saying.

Rosoboronexport’s exposition consists of six thematic segments: UAVs and loitering munitions, modern small arms systems, weapons and equipment for the Air Force and Land Forces, advanced security equipment and the latest air defense assets, it specified.

In the UAV segment, Rosoboronexport offers visitors to get acquainted with the Kub-E, Kub-2-1E loitering munitions and the Skat-350M reconnaissance UAV from the Kalashnikov Group, the press office reported.

"Kalashnikov products will also be represented by modern small arms systems. Among them are Kalashnikov AK-200 series and new-generation AK-12, AK-15 and AK-19 assault rifles, the RPL-7 machine gun, the Chukavin sniper rifle, the Lebedev compact pistol and the Kalashnikov PPK-20 submachine gun with a sound suppressor," it said.

In the segment of products for the Air Force and Land Forces, Rosoboronexport will feature the Mi-38T military transport helicopter, the Mi-28NE attack helicopter and the TOS-2 Tosochka heavy flamethrower system, it said.

The Russian hardware to be exhibited at MILEX 2025 includes air defense weapons of various ranges and electronic warfare systems from the Almaz-Antey Group, the Special Technology Center (STC) and Rostec's High Precision Systems. A wide range of counter-UAV systems will also be on display. The Uralvagonzavod defense manufacturer is showcasing armored vehicles, including the T-90MS Proryv (Breakthrough) main battle tank, the TOS-1A heavy flamethrower system and engineer vehicles, it said.
