Russian forces advance about 7 km deeper in Zaporozhye Region — politician

Vladimir Rogov also noted that the Ukrainian side is "experiencing a sharp shell shortage," including shortage of 15-mm NATO shells

MELITOPOL, January 21. /TASS/. Russian Armed Forces advanced 7 km deeper on the Zaporozhye direction in the past 24 hours, says Vladimir Rogov, head of the "We are Together with Russia" movement.

"In the past 24 hours, our forces advanced 7 km deeper," he said on his Telegram channel. "At least seven settlements are in the process of final liberation."

He also noted that the Ukrainian side is "experiencing a sharp shell shortage," including shortage of 15-mm NATO shells.

On Friday, Rogov reported a sharp escalation of hostilities on the Zaporozhye direction. He told TASS earlier that four settlements were taken under operational control. He underscored that, according to intercepted radio communications, Ukrainian forces in this area experience shortage of artillery and drones, which may force them to retreat. In addition, the Russian Defense Ministry announced the settlement of Lobkovoye in the Zaporozhye Region liberated Friday.
