Tallinn to convey unacceptability of Ukrainian drones entering Estonian airspace to Kiev

Estonian PM Kristen Michal expressed hope that such scenario would not repeat itself

VILNIUS, April 1. /TASS/. The Estonian foreign minister will convey a message to Kiev that Ukrainian drones entering the airspace of Kiev’s allies is unacceptable, Estonian Prime Minister Kristen Michal has stated.

"Our foreign minister is in Ukraine as we record this broadcast, so he will certainly deliver our message that these [Ukrainian - TASS] drones should not be flying into the airspace of our allies. <...> Of course, we will convey this sentiment, considering that we have never granted, nor do we ever grant anyone permission to use our airspace. What it boils down to is the idea that these, let us call them fragments, should not be flying over our territory. Our hope is that this scenario will not repeat itself," Kristen Michal has stated as quoted by the state broadcaster ERR.

Earlier, Estonian aviation authorities reported banning flights in the area of several sections of the border with Russia "due to unmanned aerial vehicle activity." At the same time, official representatives of Tallinn stated that several drones, presumably belonging to the Ukrainian armed forces, had gone off course and entered Estonian territory.
