Over 150 Houthis killed or injured in US air raids

Apart from the above-mentioned Houthi leaders, Dobish also named other military officers and field commanders

CAIRO, March 27. /TASS/. More than 150 members of Yemen’s rebel Ansar Allah (Houthi) movement, including high-ranking officers and officials, were killed or injured in recent US air raids, Houthi military spokesman Wadah Dobish said.

On the X social network, the spokesman posted a list of individuals who "were killed or injured in US attacks on several regions of Yemen." It includes Head of the General Staff of the Houthi Forces Muhammad Abd Al-Karim al-Ghamari and Abdul-Malik Badr al-Din al-Houthi, a younger brother to the Ansar Allah leader and the commander of the central military district. It is unclear from the statement whether they were killed or injured.

Apart from the above-mentioned Houthi leaders, Dobish also named other military officers and field commanders. In his words, about 150-160 Houthi supporters were killed or injured in US attacks on the capital Sana’a, as well as on northern provinces of Sa’dah, Al Jawf, and Al Hudaydah.

According to the spokesman, "casualty figures may grow, because information from regions attacked by US warplanes is incomplete, and also because some of the wounded are in critical condition."

On March 15, the US began to launch massive strikes on Houthi facilities in Yemen based on an order from President Donald Trump. The US Central Command said that the goal was to defend American interests and restore freedom of navigation. In response, the Ansar Allah movement carried out a series of attacks on the US aircraft carrier USS Harry S. Truman in the northern part of the Red Sea, using missiles and drones. There were no reports of damage to the vessel.
