Iran won’t enter talks with US while under pressure — top diplomat

Earlier, US President Donald Trump said he had sent a letter to Iran's supreme leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei offering talks on Tehran's nuclear program

PARIS, March 7. /TASS/. Iran will not enter into negotiations with the United States as long as it is subjected to a policy of maximum pressure, Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi told the France-Presse news agency.

"We will not enter into any direct negotiations with the United States as long as they continue their policy of maximum pressure and threats," he said.

Earlier, US President Donald Trump said he had sent a letter to Iran's supreme leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei offering talks on Tehran's nuclear program. In its turn, the Iranian permanent mission to the UN told TASS that it had not received the abovementioned letter.
