Dozens of terrorists have been killed or injured in Syrian air strikes carried out in coordination with Russia in southern Idlib and northern Hama, the Syrian Defense Ministry said in a statement on its Facebook (banned in Russia; owned by Meta Corporation, recognized as extremist in Russia) page.
"Syrian and Russian warplanes are jointly conducting precise air and missile strikes on southern Idlib and northern Hama, resulting in the deaths and injuries of dozens of terrorists and the destruction of their vehicles and weapons," the statement reads.
On Monday, the Arab republic’s army reported eliminating more than 400 terrorists in strikes on the Aleppo and Idlib governorates, in coordination with Russia’s Aerospace Forces.
On the morning of November 27, the Jabhat al-Nusra extremist group (banned in Russia) carried out a large-scale attack in northern Syria. According to a statement by the Syrian Armed Forces’ Command, the terrorists attempted to attack villages and towns under the protection of the Syrian army and military facilities, continuing to target the positions of government forces. The Syrian army launched an operation to repel the raid. On November 30, the country’s armed forces’ command stated that the army was carrying out strikes on the positions of terrorists who had managed to infiltrate many neighborhoods of the city of Aleppo. According to the Syrian Defense Ministry’s statement, the army was forced to reorganize its forces to protect the lives of civilians and troops and prepare for a counterattack.
