HIMARS missiles, anti-tank weapons included in $275-mln aid package for Kiev — Pentagon

Since the beginning of Joe Biden’s presidential term, the United States have spent over $60 billion on arming Ukraine

WASHINGTON, November 20. /TASS/. HIMARS munitions, artillery shells and anti-tank weapons are included in the new military aid package for Ukraine worth $275 million, promised by Washington, the Pentagon said in a written statement.

The package includes 155-mm and 105-mm artillery munitions, 60-mm and 81-mm mortar shells, drones, TOW anti-tank missiles, Javelin and AT-4 anti-tank systems, small arms, explosives, means of chemical, biological and nuclear protection and various spare parts.

Since the beginning of Joe Biden’s presidential term, the United States have spent over $60 billion on arming Ukraine.

Russian President Vladimir Putin repeatedly said that shipment of new weapons to Kiev will not change the situation on the battlefield, but will only prolong the conflict. Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov noted that any cargo that contains weapons for Ukraine would become legitimate targets for Russia.
