Hamas denies female hostage liberated by Israeli military

CAIRO, October 31. /TASS/. The militant wing of the Palestinian radical movement Hamas - the Izz ad-Din al-Qassam Brigades - has denied Israel's statements that the Israeli military liberated one of its hostages, Abu Obaida, the spokesperson for the militant wing wrote on Telegram.

"We deny [information] that the enemy has reached any of the persons held by the Izz ad-Din al-Qassam Brigades," he said.

On October 30, the press service of the Israel Defense Forces reported that the Israeli military had liberated one of its female soldiers, Ori Megidish, from Gaza after she was kidnapped by Hamas on October 7.
