Hamas posts hostages' appeal to Israeli authorities on its Telegram channel

Commenting on the video, the Israeli Yedioth Ahronoth newspaper noted that this is an element of psychological warfare

CAIRO, October 30. /TASS/. The Palestinian movement Hamas has posted an appeal to the Israeli authorities by three women who are being kept hostage in Gaza on its Telegram channel.

"A number of Zionist (Israeli - TASS) prisoners kept by Ezzedeen Al-Qassam Brigades (Hamas’ military wing - TASS) are appealing to [Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin] Netanyahu and the Zionist government," the caption under the video reads.

Commenting on the video, the Israeli Yedioth Ahronoth newspaper noted that this is an element of psychological warfare, adding that there is no indication when or how this video was shot.

Ezzedeen Al-Qassam Brigades said on October 20 that with Qatar’s mediation it had released two US women. Two more women were released on October 23.

Meanwhile, according to Israel Defense Forces (IDF) Spokesman Daniel Hagari, at least 239 hostages were in captivity in the Gaza Strip as of October 29.
