Chinese-Russian relations not aimed against third countries — Chinese Foreign Ministry

US Secretary of State Antony Blinken said earlier that Washington considers releasing intelligence showing China’s military support of Russia

BEIJING, February 23. /TASS/. The relationship between China and Russia is based on non-confrontation and does not target third countries, Chinese Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Wang Wenbin said on Thursday.

"Chinese-Russian relations are based on non-alignment, non-confrontation and are not aimed against third countries. It is a positive factor in maintaining peace and stability around the world," the Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman said.

US Secretary of State Antony Blinken said earlier that Washington considers releasing intelligence showing China’s military support of Russia. He claimed that Beijing is "considering providing lethal support to Russia." The US top diplomat added that the aid would include weapons.
