No commitment from EU leaders to ship fighter jets to Ukraine — report

In the last few weeks, Ukraine has been trying to obtain F-16 jet fighters from Western States

NEW YORK, February 9. /TASS/. No European leaders have taken obligation to ship modern Western jet planes to Ukraine yet, Bloomberg reported Thursday, citing an unnamed EU official.

According to the official, "European leaders made clear" to Zelensky that "they’re willing to do more military to aid Ukraine, but no-one has so far committed to providing fighter jets."

Before departing from Brussels to Ukraine, Zelensky had a series of meetings with European leaders "as long as 30 minutes each," Bloomberg says.
