Reports of Belarusian plan to attack Ukraine are fake news — KGB chief

It is noted that Ivan Tergel is disappointed with Ukrainian intellligence

MINSK, October 13. /TASS/. Ukrainian intelligence agencies’ reports that Belarus is preparing to carry out strikes on Ukraine are fake news, Chairman of the Belarusian State Security Committee (KGB) Ivan Tergel said at a meeting with workers at the Belaruskali fertilizer company on Thursday.

"There are a lot of reports citing Ukrainian intelligence, which claim that we have allegedly deployed substantial military forces to the state border, that we have Iranian-made drones and are even preparing to carry out strikes on Ukrainian territory. That’s obviously fake news. Frankly speaking, I’m disappointed with Ukrainian intellligence," the BelTA news agency quoted the KGB chief as saying.

"If they really came to such conclusions, then there should be serious doubts about the competence of our foreign - in this case - colleagues," Tertel added.
