International grain coalition is only needed to interfere with Black Sea region — Lavrov

"Attempts to create an international coalition" are aimed at interfering in regional affaires under the UN aegis, the Russian Foreign Minister pointed out

TEHRAN, June 23. /TASS/. An international coalition that would help unblock Ukraine’s grain exports is only needed to interfere with the Black Sea region, Russia’s foreign minister said on Thursday.

"Attempts to create an international coalition" are aimed at interfering in regional affaires under the UN aegis, Lavrov told a news conference following talks with his Iranian counterpart, Hossein Amir-Abdollahian.

The ships blocked in the Black Sea ports due to the danger of mines can leave the ports without "such schemes," Lavrov said, adding that Russia can ensure the vessels’ security up to the Bosporus Strait.
