Iranian Atomic Energy Organization Spokesperson Behrouz Kamalvandi stressed that "about 80% of the IAEA’s cameras in Iran fall under the NPT and Tehran continues to comply with the treaty"

TEHRAN, June 8. /TASS/. Tehran is switching off all of the International Atomic Energy Agency’s (IAEA) surveillance cameras on Wednesday at the country’s nuclear sites that don’t fall under the Non-Proliferation Treaty, Iranian Atomic Energy Organization Spokesperson Behrouz Kamalvandi said.

"We have decided to halt our cooperation in the part that did not fall under the NPT and was based on our goodwill, including data recording by the IAEA’s surveillance cameras," he told state TV.

The official added that "about 80% of the IAEA’s cameras [in Iran] fall under the NPT and Tehran continues to comply with the treaty".
