Moldova, Transnistria not teaming up on investigation into blasts, says Chisinau

However, according to Moldovan President Maia Sandu, there is interaction via the OSCE

CHISINAU, April 26./TASS/. The security services of Moldova and Transnistria are not conducting a joint investigation into the terrorist attacks that rocked the unrecognized republic, Moldovan President Maia Sandu told a briefing after a meeting of the Supreme Security Council on Tuesday.

"As far as I know, there were no direct contacts. However, there is interaction via the OSCE. This week, we expect an OSCE mission to visit Chisinau," the president said when asked about any cooperation in the investigation.

Two radio antennas were blown up in the Mayak settlement in Transnistria earlier on Tuesday. On Monday, the Transnistrian Ministry of State Security’s building came under fire from hand-held grenade launchers. None of the incidents led to any casualties. In March, Transnistrian state agencies received several anonymous messages about bombs planted in schools, medical facilities and shopping malls.
