MOSCOW, December 20. /TASS/. The refereeing committee of the International Association Football Federation (FIFA) has approved a list of referees who will officiate international matches in 2024, which includes 43 Russian referees, the Russian Football Union reported.
According to it, 42 Russian referees were included in the list in 2023.
Next year’s list of referees includes Russians Sergey Karasev, Sergey Ivanov, Evgeny Kukulyak, Kirill Levnikov, Vitaly Meshkov, Vladimir Moskalev, Vladislav Bezborodov, Pavel Shadykhanov, Artem Lyubimov, Marina Krupskaya, Vera Opeikina, Nadezhda Gorinova, Alexandra Ponomareva, Karina Afanasyeva.
Also included are assistant referees Maxim Gavrilin, Igor Demeshko, Alexey Lunev, Dmitry Mosyakin, Valentin Murashov, Andrey Vereteshkin, Egor Bolkhovitin, Dmitry Safyan, Rustam Mukhtarov, Andrey Obrazko, Ekaterina Kurochkina, Ekaterina Chernova, Ekaterina Kozyreva, Ekaterina Pavlenko, Anastasia Toporova, Yelena Sobchuk, Irina Chechenina. Ivanov, Karasev, Meshkov, Moskalev, Vasily Kazartsev and Evgeny Turbin got video referee licenses.
The list of mini-football referees includes Tatiana Boltneva, Irina Velikanova, Vitaly Groshev, Grigory Zelentsov, Vladimir Kadykov and Ilya Pogonin. Referees Roman Borisov, Alexey Ivanov, Viktor Listratov and Denis Smolyaninov are eligible to officiate international beach soccer matches.
