Last Russian protester ends her hunger strike on SH Diana liner

According to Natalya Litvinova, she decided to seek the desired compensation through the court

BUENOS AIRES, December 1. /TASS/. Russian tourist Natalya Litvinova has ended her hunger strike, which she announced in protest against the lack of full compensation for the interrupted cruise to Antarctica, according to the woman’s Telegram channel.

"I don't want my loved ones to worry too much about me, so I decided to end my hunger strike," she said in the video. According to Litvinova, she is "physically fine."

According to the tourist, she decided to seek the desired compensation through the court. Litvinova pointed out that during the five-day hunger strike she did not receive any satisfactory offers from Swan Hellenic, the company that organized the cruise. Representatives of the company told TASS that there are no Russian passengers on board who are continuing their hunger strike, and they believe that the issue has been resolved.

Earlier, The Times reported that Russian passengers on the SH Diana cruise liner were on hunger strike, demanding a refund for the interrupted cruise. Swan Hellenic confirmed the ship's malfunction and said passengers were being offered a 50% refund or 65% "future cruise credit." The company also confirmed that not all customers had agreed to these terms.
