Ukrainian attack causes temporary outage at Caspian Pipeline facilities — Kremlin

According to Dmitry Peskov, a large amount of damage was inflicted there

MOSCOW, April 2. /TASS/. The temporary outage of single point moorings at the Caspian Pipeline Consortium is related to significant damage incurred during recent attacks by the Ukrainian army, Kremlin Spokesman Dmitry Peskov told reporters.

Earlier reports said that the CPC temporarily shut down two single point moorings at the marine terminal near Novorossiysk after a surprise inspection by Rostransnadzor, the Russian transport regulator.

"This is related to the damage inflicted to CPC infrastructure after strikes by Ukrainian drones. We should not forget that a large amount of damage was inflicted there, damage that affected technology. Unfortunately, this cannot but have consequences for the operability of the entire system," Peskov said.
