Far North airports to be upgraded — Putin

According to the Russian leader, sixteen airports of the Arctic zone will be modernized in coming years

MURMANSK, March 27. /TASS/. Arctic and Far North airports require upgrade, President Vladimir Putin said at the plenary session of the International Arctic Forum.

"Airports of the Far North, especially small ones, require upgrading. We will modernize sixteen airports of the Arctic zone in coming years within the framework of the relevant National Project, including in Salekhard, Arkhangelsk, Naryan-Mar and Vorkuta," the president said.
