"Counterintelligence agencies are facing significant challenges. Regular reports and analyses indicate that the operations of foreign intelligence services have increased throughout the course of the special military operation," he said.

Putin emphasized the need to substantially enhance counterintelligence measures to safeguard sensitive information of military and strategic importance. This includes data related to public and military administration, the development of advanced weapons systems, and cutting-edge technologies across various industries.
