MOSCOW, February 26. /TASS/. Another massive Ukrainian drone attack on Russian civilian facilities shows Vladimir Zelensky's intention to disrupt the peaceful settlement of the conflict, Rodion Miroshnik, the Russian Foreign Ministry’s special envoy for the crimes of the Kiev regime, said.
According to the Defense Ministry, Russian air defenses downed 128 Ukrainian drones in the early morning hours of February 26. It was the largest enemy drone attack on Russia since the beginning of the year.
"This is nothing but a Ukrainian attempt to launch a massive attack on civilian facilities far from the line of engagement. Such Kiev’s actions not only violate the norms of international humanitarian law, but also demonstrate the real attitude of Zelensky to disrupt any agreements aimed at political and diplomatic settlement," Miroshnik wrote on his Telegram channel.
According to the diplomat, Kiev believes that in this way it "demonstrates to the West its military potential."
