Russian forces advance in village near border between DPR, Zaporozhye Region

According to the report, Russian forces also expanded the area under their control near the village of Novoselka also on the administrative border between the two regions

MELITOPOL, February 20. /TASS/. Russian forces have taken control of the central part of the Novoocheretovatoye village on the administrative border between the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR) and the Zaporozhye Region, Vladimir Rogov, chairman of the commission for issues of sovereignty, patriotic projects and veterans of the Russian Public Chamber, told TASS.

"In the Vrenevskoye section of the Zaporozye front, our troops have advanced in Novoocheretovatoye and took control of the central part of this settlement," he said, adding that Russian forces also expanded the area under their control near the village of Novoselka also on the administrative border between the two regions.

Rogov told TASS on February 18 that the Russian army had mopped up Novoselka from Ukrainian troops.
