Shoigu hopes Trump's first decisions herald revision of previous US policies

It was also mentioned "well-orchestrated refugee flows" and "large organized resettlement campaigns" of residents of different regions

ASTANA, February 12. /TASS/. Russian Security Council Secretary Sergey Shoigu has expressed hope that US President Donald Trump's initial decisions will signal the start of a significant transformation in the United States, aimed at revising the policies of the previous administration.

"With regard to [Trump's] other decisions, I am hopeful that this marks the beginning of a major revolution in the United States, aimed at reassessing everything that has accumulated during their tenure, particularly through such organizations as USAID," he told the media following a working visit to Kazakhstan.

"We remember all these reports from many square and from many countries. We remember the distribution there of different kinds of foods - from cookies to candies," Shoigu added.

He also recalled "well-orchestrated refugee flows" and "large organized resettlement campaigns" of residents of different regions.

"Look at the Middle East," he said.
