West continues to try to stall natural geopolitical evolution — Lavrov

"The destructive policy of the United States and its allies is based bogus rules, as we all know, and which in fact is a set of double standards," the Russian foreign minister said

MOSCOW, April 11. /TASS/. The countries of the collective West continue to stand in the way of the natural evolution in the system of international relations, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said at a meeting with representatives of the relevant parliamentary committees on international affairs of the BRICS countries.

"We consistently advocate the implementation of a truly unifying international agenda, aimed at creating favorable conditions for the development of all countries and peoples without exception, and not just a narrow group of elected ones," the minister said. "Unfortunately, the collective West, led by the United States, does not abandon attempts, if not to reverse this natural historical process, then at least to delay the onset of these inevitable changes."

"The destructive policy of the United States and its allies is based bogus rules, as we all know, and which in fact is a set of double standards," according to Lavrov. "This policy has already led to the destabilization of many countries and even entire regions," he said.
