Russian forces advance beyond center of Rabotino first time since February — politician

Vladimir Rogov has an impression that the Ukrainian army has eased the artillery shelling of Russian units, but is actively using FPV drones instead

MELITOPOL, March 20. /TASS/. Russian forces have advanced beyond the center of Rabotino in the Zaporozhye Region for the first time since the resumption of active fighting in this area in February, Vladimir Rogov, the leader of the movement We Are Together With Russia has told TASS.

"There have been some successes in Rabotino. Ours forces have moved beyond the center of the village for the first time since the resumption of active operations," Rogov said.

He has an impression that the Ukrainian army has eased the artillery shelling of Russian units, but is actively using FPV drones instead.

"It looks like a new wave of ammunition shortages has hit the Ukrainian army and greatly affects the situation. But the enemy compensates for this with a colossal number of kamikaze drones, reconnaissance drones and others," Rogov said.

Also, he remarked that near Orekhov the Ukrainian forces have been using less equipment.

"Everywhere they send infantry for slaughter. Reports show a large number of destroyed troops and very few eliminated vehicles. There is simply no equipment," he said.

On March 16, Rogov told TASS that the Russian forces had established control of the central part of Rabotino.

In late February, the Russian Defense Ministry said that Russian units had managed to gain a foothold in Rabotino. The Ukrainian armed forces are still unsuccessfully trying to regain their lost positions using reinforcements from other areas.
