MOSCOW, March 12. /TASS/. Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov at a meeting with ambassadors of Latin American and Caribbean countries emphasized Moscow’s plans to develop political dialogue with their states, the Foreign Ministry said following the meeting in Moscow.
"During the conversation, the minister stressed commitment to further developing bilateral and multilateral political dialogue and giving a boost to trade, economic and investment partnership with Latin American and Caribbean countries, cooperating with them on the cultural, humanitarian, educational and other fronts on a de-ideologized and pragmatic basis, taking into account national interests, equality and mutual benefit," the ministry said.
In addition, it said that the participants in the meeting had exchanged views on a wide range of issues of the current international situation, as well as touched upon various aspects of the ongoing transformation of the world order, leading to the strengthening of its multipolar basis, where the Latin American region plays an important role.
