GENICHESK, March 4. /TASS/. Russian forces jammed and shot down 51 Ukrainian drones, destroyed three armored combat vehicles, and six artillery systems and mortars in the Kherson area during the past day, the region’s governor Vladimir Saldo said.
According to Saldo, units of the Russian Battlegroup Dnepr continued to shell enemy positions from all types of weapons. "Russian troops continued mop-up operations on the Dnieper left bank in the Kherson Region, where the enemy has practically stopped attempts to deploy more troops and deliver munitions. However, the enemy continues to make an extensive use of combat unmanned aerial vehicles, especially FPV drones. The enemy’s daily losses in the sphere of the battlegroup’s responsibility include 51 drones (shot down and jammed), three armored combat vehicles, six artillery systems and mortars," he wrote on his Telegram channel.
He also noted that Russian forces delivered 35 strikes on areas of the temporary deployment of Ukrainian troops. Russian warplanes hit a number of Ukraine’s weapons and munitions depots.
