Russian forces push no man’s land further north in Zaporozhye Region — official

According to Vladimir Rogov, Russian troops have entrenched at the positions in Pyatikhatki and cover Ukrainian positions near Kamenskoye and Stepovoye

MELITOPOL, November 17. /TASS/. Russian forces have entrenched at the previously taken positions in the settlement of Pyatikhatki, Zaporozhye Region, and pushed the no man’s land further north, says Vladimir Rogov, chairman of the "We are Together with Russia" movement.

"Our boys on the Vasilyevka direction now cover Ukrainian positions near Kamenskoye and Stepovoye. Our forces have entrenched at the positions in Pyatikhatki, and pushed the no man’s land north," he told TASS.

On November 15, Rogov told TASS that Russian forces capture two Ukrainian strongholds on the Vasilyevka direction and advanced deeper into Pyatikhatki.

The Ukrainian army has been making futile offensive attempts since June 4. On October 5, Russian President Vladimir Putin said that Kiev has lost over 90,000 personnel and over 550 tanks in four months. On October 15, Putin said that the Ukrainian counteroffensive failed completely, even though Kiev prepares new active offensive operation on certain swaths of the frontline.
