‘Couldn’t last a day without Western cash, weapons’: Medvedev skewers Zelensky regime

The Russian Security Council deputy chairman believes that the Ukrainian president’s remark that he has nothing to discuss with anyone in Russia, was an attempt to show that Zelensky himself "is a major statesman and a figure of global and even universal significance"

MOSCOW, January 26. /TASS/. Ukraine and its current leadership fully depend on the West, Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council Dmitry Medvedev said on Thursday.

According to him, Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky "is 1,000% dependent on NATO’s weapons and Western money." "Without them, neither Ukraine, nor he and his cabal would last a day," Medvedev wrote on Telegram.

The Russian Security Council deputy chairman believes that the Ukrainian president’s remark that he has nothing to discuss with anyone in Russia, was an attempt to show that Zelensky himself "is a major statesman and a figure of global and even universal significance."

In Medvedev’s view, Zelensky’s words also "justify more and more handouts." "Come on, make decisions faster. I’m still alive and in control of everyone around me. Give me more weapons and more cash, because your enemy is incomprehensible, cunning, and dangerous. But, I won’t surrender to the enemy, I am very, very strong, so no need for talks or communication. Besides, the enemy is already almost afraid of me," Medvedev detailed, breaking down what the Ukrainian president had said.
